Winners Announced In Vision Videogames’ Spacestation:SIM Get In The Game Unsigned Music Contest

March 12, 2004 -- Vision Videogames, formerly GRS Games of Towson, Maryland is pleased to announce the winners of their innovative “Get in the Game” music contest for unsigned artists to be included in the Fall 2004 international game release of the PS2 version Space Station:SIM. The PC version is expected to be in the market several months later.

“It was a difficult choice selecting winners for the contest; there were so many outstanding entries. We may even be contacting other entrants to include their music in the game,” says Bill Mueller, president of Vision Videogames and a 30-year veteran in the recording industry. “The video game is the single strongest vehicle for breaking new music today.” continues Mueller, “If you want your music heard, you have to get it in front of the audience. Where is the audience? Playing video games! The release of SpaceStation:SIM will help these artists be heard.”

SpaceStation:SIM is an exciting foray into the high pressure, high tech world of NASA and the International Space Station. Developed in cooperation with NASA, this exciting game balances long term strategic planning, up to the minute, mission critical decisions and space simulation. Game players act as the Chief Administrator of NASA and have to keep their Astronauts happy and productive in order to win. Each Astronaut has unique needs, abilities and personalities, favorite foods, pastimes and most importantly MUSIC! Some like hip hop, some like rock but they all like music. How the Astronauts interact with each other’s preferences makes for lots of fun in the game.
